Walk to Remember

Honouring Lives Lost

A day for parents, families, and friends to remember and celebrate those babies who have been lost through all types of pregnancy and infant loss.

Speaking Their Names

Walk to Remember is a beautiful day that allows those often-unspoken names to be read, remembered, openly talked about and shared.

Alongside Each Other

On Saturday September 20, 2025, we meet at Muskoseepi Park Amphitheatre for the 13th Annual Peace Country Walk to Remember.

The 13th Annual Peace Country Walk to Remember

Tiny Hands of Hope in partnership with Northern Valor Petroleum Ltd presents the13th Annual Peace Country Walk to Remember.
The Peace Country Walk to Remember is a meaningful and compassionate community event that honors the lives of babies lost to all types of pregnancy and infant loss.
Held annually in Grande Prairie, this gathering provides a safe and supportive space for grieving families to come together in remembrance, healing, and solidarity. It is a day to walk beside one another, share stories, and speak aloud the names of babies who are always loved and never forgotten.
💗 Whether you're a parent, family member, friend, or supporter, your presence helps raise awareness and break the silence surrounding pregnancy and infant loss.
This is a family-friendly event, welcoming participants of all ages to walk, reflect, and support one another in a gentle and caring environment. The program will begin at 1:00 PM, with the walk starting around 2:00 PM, depending on how long the program runs. The walk itself is a short 1 km route around the reservoir. Following the walk, participants are invited to enjoy a BBQ sponsored by the Rotary Club of Grande Prairie. The event will be held on Saturday, September 20th at Muskoseepi Park, meeting at the Amphitheatre.
This gathering shows us that in grief, we find strength together, and that every life, no matter how short, forever touches those who remember.
